Hi, I'm Neil Ellwood.
Thank you for visiting my site and showing interest in the services that I can provide for the facility and water management sectors.
My Background...
I have personally been in this industry since 1982 when I was engaged as an LPG engineer for a local Calor Gas stockist and 'cut my teeth' travelling around the county servicing and installing LPG systems and equipment from humble gas fires and cookers to industrial boilers and commercial catering equipment.
In 1986 I went self employed, gained CORGI status,and continued as a plumbing and heating company until 1999 when I moved into 'honest' employment for a well known water tank manufacturer eventually heading up the management team until moving onto a multi-faceted mechanical services company with a positive view on water efficiency and renewable's.
A brief venture in solar energy supply was followed by a brief interlude until I joined a well known and respected home counties water treatment company in 2013 to develop and manage an in-house engineering division which leads us here to October 2018 and the newly formed Ellwood Mechanical Services.
Having recognised that there is a genuine skills shortage in my chosen trade of over 30 years, I and fellow experienced professionals who I have met and trusted over the years will be offering through
Ellwood Mechanical Services a wide variety of both general and specialist plumbing & mechanical services skills only
to those commercial clients in the facilities management and water treatment sectors where 1st time right is crucial on so many levels.
The trade accreditation's are genuine and relate to me personally, of which I am very proud and I hope these offer you confidence in our works and actions.
Our tailored insurances allow us to work from Classification 1 private dwellings up to Classification 3 environments such as hospitals and we hold Professional indemnity cover for design works.
